  1. Only the B-1Bs were sent. Those planes are ancient and will be retired over the next 10 years. Sending the B-2 Spirit would have been aggressive. (it's very likely someone thought about this and made the plane decision with this in mind.)

  2. If someone speaks English like that, it means he was educated in the US at some point in time. Realistically, ROK needs to have military officers up and down the chain of command to speak English fluently for joint exercises and any coordination.
