  2. Too expensive to maintain. I doubt anyone is still making the parts. Plus, any technical expert has long since retired and or died.

  3.  @ALTOGETHER_UNKNOWN  I think you transposed what I said. The F-4s were the targets. They were blowing up F-4s out of the sky. In theory, you could call them drones since they were remote controlled.
