Happened to me just last month. Found puddle of oil under front of my Ford, but brought it to one of those Tire franchises. Diagnosed a rear main seal leak, but this store didn't have the equipment to do the job. The one that did was too far so brought it to a Ford dealership. Asked how much, was comparable to the Tire store so I let them do it. Two days later noticed 2 drops of oil on the cardboard I put under my vehicle to see if the leak was repaired. Called the guy who handled my job and he said to come in Monday so we could both see what was going on when put on the lift. After 2 hours and never showing me my vehicle on the lift returns and states it's a oil pan gasket leak, $1750 and tells me to go back to the Tire store and ask for a refund because the problem was mis-diagnosed. Don't need to tell you what an idiotic statement that was. Told him I would think about it and left. Never leaked since! Either they messed up and repaired it correctly the second time or purposely left something loose so it would leak and con me out of $1750 and not have to honor their 2 year warranty on the repair. This con job seems to be a favorite of Ford, BEWARE!

Yeah, just the ridiculous high price you'll never recoup, low mileage range, finding charging stations and the other myriad of ridiculous associated expenses. Have you ever watched his videos of electric cars?
