  12.  @lokitus  Corsica was under Roman/Italian rule for nearly 1000 years and was so when Napoleon's parents were born and both have 100% Italian names and lineage. Corsica was under French rule only a few years before Napoleons birth that's why he is listed as "French." Later in life according to quotes he still considered himself Italian.
