@weebarry668 Permissive ideas, addiction is a "sickness" to be treated by education, treatment, even supplying addicts with drugs and needles. Drugs are looked on as cool, a joke, this hypocrite channel has programs in America showing just that, even giving ideas on where to get the best, most potent, the newest drugs. How has that worked? It 's only spreading and worsening. 60 years ago drugs were virtually unknown except in minority countries and the poorest neighborhoods.

Legalization was tried in various countries and it has not stopped the spread of addictions, crime and those countries say it has failed or made no difference. Addicts will always look for cheaper options and who pays for the growing list of addicts? Your way has been tried, if it worked all governments would adopt that policy.

@weebarry668 Those that TRULY want to rehab and LEARN A TRADE & WORK, be given ONE chance. The habituals, arrested and if need be kept there until they REFORM, if not enjoy prison for life. NO MORE CODDLING. The dealers, heavy prison terms, the cartel, syndicate, mafias, LIFE TERMS, better yet, needle in the arm for the after life, no need to support them with tax money.

@weebarry668 Oh dudester, your reasoning is pure leftist joy. So, after they're rehabed, then WHAT? Aren't they expected to go out and find a JOB? Or do you expect what I know, it's only an excuse for MORE rehabing and to make drug companies, rehab clinics, and everyone associated mucho dinero and do little else. Again, look at society and the drug trade 60 years ago, then fast forward to now after your "solution" has been tried repeatedly. Look at Kensington Ave. where free needles and sometimes drugs are distributed, basically an open market drug den. How they doing? How has this approach worked in US cities that are ALL looking like Kensington?
