All my neighbors 30 km from Moscow usually go by car to the nearest suburban train station. They leave the car and then go by public transport to Moscow. It is very convenient, it is easy to transfer to the metro, and from there everything in Moscow is very accessible. Trams and electric buses have road priority. Therefore, they are less susceptible to traffic jams.
