@MG-bs5mr omg why did your mom struggle so much to push you out into the world? It's customary practice to mention ANY ancient literature (fictional or not) that pertains to historical findings like this. It stimulates us to think about how this piece of literature like the story of ninevah in the Bible even come into existence? Is there anything that resembles the story of Ninevah in these paintings?

@tommywolfe2706 hahaha loser. Why only single out countries whose artefacts were being destroyed by extremists? What about India? What about Greece? What about Chinese artefacts? These countries were pretty stable since at least the 1930s. Why hasn't britian returned the artefacts it has stolen even after 90 years?

@peterweeks2066 you moron, it's important to mention some or any ancient literature, regardless of whether it's religious or been proven or not, pertaining to an archaeological find.

@Krytern He was almost about to do that to demonstrate his loyalty to God. The story's point is to establish extreme loyalty a person can have towards his master/God.

@Krytern That's just your moral compass that declares this incident as evil or possibly contradictory given that God is such a loving God or whatever. If a God as described in the Christian canon, really does exist, then he literally makes the moral rules and compass everybody needs to abide by regardless of whether such a God's judgement pleases you or not It's really as simple as that. Even what counts as actual/real "love" is objectively defined by the owner/ruler of this universe. So, this implies that if we somehow can sense or prove the existence of God, his way of doing things however fucked up they may seem to us are really the only right way to do things.
