@milkdromeda1531 I think the core reason Anna pushes back against this (especially the sensationalism from Western) is cuz she sees through the Korean male-bashing that's sneakily embedded here. It sounds like a revival of very old school Orientalism where the Asian man is depicted as savage, sexist, and inexperienced with women. There's no problem with discussing the sexism prevalent among Asian men in different Asian countries but it does raise eyebrows when the issue is brought up only in select situations to put the Asian man down. It's like bringing up sexism of Arab men while in a conversation about Isreal's war crimes.

@GaserBeam-hi4ez lol you took protests in Israel as example of Western media narrative shaping? Which media are you watching? Most Western media I watch say that Isreal is the most democratic progressive pro LGBTQ country on the planet.
