@raracolt2346 My original comment defined upper class women in terms of their financial background and caste. I didn't single out only the caste part of the equation. In India, a person's social class or currency is determined by both their financial status and caste. You were the one who was butthurt and derailed this discussion to low class men's crime rate when that has nothing to do with the impact these reformed laws will have on women of different social classes. Lol.

The fuck? 24 weeks is killing the child. That's wayyy too much time. Most European countries only have it up to 14-15 weeks. If we want to go more liberal, 18-20 weeks should be enough.

@raracolt2346 it's an undeniable fact that upper class (caste wise and financial status) women have better acces to abortion. So now these women who engage in premarital or casual sex can be bailed out by the government for their recklessness. Abortions take place more in numbers in private hospitals than public ones. So your point is moot.

@raracolt2346 Rape, incest, consensual minor sex, potential stillbirth or mother's death--all of them are valid reasons to have abortion even after 20 weeks. But casual sex or premarital sex isn't a valid ground to kill your baby that has grown a lot during those 6 months. I've already said I have no problem with women in downtrodden situations getting abortions to not bring a child into a world where he can't access ample resources for his/her wellbeing and growth. But laws like these passed in haste will be abused by women engaging in casual sex or premarital sex.

It shouldn't take you to have an outstanding reading comprehension to figure out what I'm trying to convey: upper class women will engage in casual sex and premarital sex more than other women. And hence they'll start to have more and more abortions. Upper class women are more socially liberal but politically conservative.
