The US didn't "stand around and to nothing" when Houthis fired at Saudi Arabia. I, along with 1500 other American troops deployed there and set up surface to air missile sites. @FINNSTIGAT0R If you look at most student movements, from Germany to US, Korea, Hungary, etc., You can find the adult college professors are the origin, not the students themselves. They are radicalized by the instructors that have charge of them

Dude, we don't have to accept one. At all. We can decide any time we want, to tell anyone we want that they're not welcome, regardless of the numbers. Just because a lot of them are coming across doesn't mean entering our country is a right. It's a privilege Most countries that would be super mad at us for not taking millions of refugees are melting demographically, while most of the world is apparently allowed to say no What, exactly can be done to us without our own consent? We're literally saying "I'm just following the rules" about the rules we made up. It's stupidity

@derfliv206 Lol. No. As I said, we don't have to accept a deal for 5000 a day, or 500 a day. All we have to do is reinstate the remain in Mexico policy. Why are we even considering this garbage framing? The US is in no way obligated to take refugees. It's a courtesy. We're the largest economy in the world. We have the power to say we won't take anyone as long as we like. We don't even have the housing for several million more people

You're not going to see a world court telling Saudi Arabia or Egypt that they're going to take a million palestinians each. Tell China "or else" if they don't take a million Pakistanis and see how far that gets you. As housing becomes more unaffordable, social trust burns to the ground, and public services continue to rot and go bankrupt, people will be muttering that we just didn't have a choice as they wonder what happened
