  1. Charlotte's not that bad at all. In fact, NC is one the best states to live in. I live in Cary, NC and love it. There's not really anywhere in NC I would consider all that scary. I grew up in Los Angeles and have no urge to go back, ever.

  3. Charlotte's done a pretty good job of improving. North Carolina in general is one of the best states to live. I live 3 hours west of Charlotte, right outside Raleigh. Great state

  4.  @PennySayver  Compared to Detroit, Compton, or South Chicago, Charlotte isn't that bad. I've lived in NC for years and don't feel scared anywhere here. It's all subjective. If NC is the only place you've ever lived maybe those areas are scary, but they really aren't.
