@ParrotTactical Yeah the X95 and AUGA3 are both very good rifles. About 10 inches shorter than an M4. That's important when you have a full time 6 inch suppressor on the muzzle.

The new SIG case increases velocity by about 150 fps over a traditional case. That means a 6.5 Grendel produced with that technology would push a 108 grain EPR at about 2800 fps from a 16 barrel. Without nearly the weight, recoil, size, or blast of this thing.

@matthiuskoenig3378 That's not correct. The SIG Spear, with suppressor, is 36 inches long. That's with a 13 inch barrel. The RM277 is 33.5 inches long, with a 20 inch barrel and suppressor. Two and a half inches isn't a lot, but the longer barrel will have more endurance and have less muzzle blast. It also seems to have less recoil. Also the ammo can be fired from legacy weapons like the M240, M110/A1, and M134 with just barrel changes. The ammo is lighter, as well.

@Tonius126 Everyone moved away from full power battle rifles decades ago as well, but here we are again, aren't we? No reason an improved bullpup can't be a good match for improved ammunition, too.

That gun is definitely not 19 inches long. The Raptor 6.8 is 5 inches shorter than the NGSW 13 inch barrel, coming in at 29 inches. I imagine it's 19 inches with the stock folded. Cutting 5 inches of the barrel and installing a shorter handguard cuts about a pound off of the gun, making it about 7.5 pounds.

@ParrotTactical Yes

@gunguru7020 Not necessarily. SIG says that themselves. The higher 80K chamber pressure can be a problem with many gun designs.

That 8" barrel is getting around 2650 FPS. That would be about 200 FPs slower than the 13" carbine
