  1.  @Stroheim333  if you look into history among many groups US corporations were there prior to 911, remember we were their allies , helped them to defeat russia. Afghanistan is extremely rich in precious gems, lithium and has a huge reserve of oil , no wonder china is in there.

  3.  @Stroheim333  the massive oil deposits are still in the ground , multiple news reports from the eu, russia etc reported this around 2005 or so saying it was potentialy more oil than saudi arabia , as for the massive amount of mineral wealth even the study by the pentagon and united states geoligical survey said afghanistan has an estimated US$ 1 trillion of mineral wealth, today the taliban uses some of that wealth, china has strong interests in lithium in afghanistan, china also had some intiative i think they called it belt and road . anyway believe what you want, recently there was reports of china and russia in iraq , they are there for the oil ,china dangled the carrot according to the news article offering to rebuild cities in return for dirt cheap oil. the western worlds position on earth has waned.

  6. i met an afghani years ago in my country he said prior to the original invasion US corporations etc quickly removed tonnes of diamonds etc , just like iraq and dick cheynes oil tankers i watched marines complaining they were gaurding haliberton tankers etc while they took billions in oil, all we did was generate more terrorists, isis, isil etc, and now israel is unifying muslim countries
