Unfortunately a lot of these places that people want to pay their employees more are minimum wage jobs and when you start to raise salaries on minimum wage workers that cost gets put onto the consumer and they usually end up with less hours and more taxes taken out because the more you make the more they take and they're not any better off than they were making less an hour.
