@jimziemer474 They don't understand basic economics and the fact that if you over tax corporations they are going to move those corporations somewhere with less taxes and take those jobs with them. You would think this would be simple for them to understand about the cost of goods and services going up if employers are made to pay everyone more. They have a business to run their business is supposed to make money not just go right back into paying employees.

@jasonvegan5761 minimum wage jobs are not meant to be lifetime jobs. If you are stuck as a cashier and a grocery store making minimum wage for years and years you're not applying yourself. Minimum wage jobs are meant to be stepping stones that's why high school students work them while they are in school and college and then move on. These idiots in the fast food places can't even give me napkins in a bag of food they are handing me through my car window FFS They absolutely don't deserve $15 an hour when a lot of college graduates start at $15 an hour which is low for a college degree But what about those people who are making $15 an hour What do you raise them up to in order to keep up with this nonsense? Because that's not fair
