The American people are not stupid and most of us who pay attention already knew that this is exactly what they wanted to happen and it's why they've been training Ukrainian troops for 8 years as well as moving in military equipment and weapons. This is a proxy war between the US / NATO and Russia and it's absolute nonsense and the American taxpayers do not want to pay for it. Blinken talking about countries making their own decisions on who they align with is rich considering we have sanctioned and threatened everyone who doesn't go along with whatever bullshit we decide to do.
