If the votes are not been determined on the 14th, then there are other procedures that happen regarding 01/06. Once the EV are accepted on the 14th, EVERYTHING after that is merely ceremonial. If the 50 states and DC confirm their state's on Dec 14, the VP does NOT have the authority to override them on 01/06. The 64 emergency petitions filed by Guiliani, Powell, and Lin Wood were all settled by that date, as well. If the BS you've been fed by 2000 Mules and Faux Noise was accurate, Gore would have NEVER conceded to Bush. He would have simply rejected the votes on 01/06.

Given how many months every member of Congress on the Committee has been outspoken about their strong doubts Garland is doing any type of investigation into the top tier planners if 01/06, there's no way those who say garland is just being thorough and crossing T's and dotting I's can be right. The entire Committee as a group and individually has expressed numerous times of their frustrations over Garland's lack of investigations.

  11. Apparently, Garland has a personal policy of not indicting anyone who has ever been elected to federal office... At least, that explains why garland chose to indict Bannon and Navarro but not Meadows and Scavino. All 4 received the same Congressional referral for criminal contempt of Congress, but the latter two were not indicted AND they've both been elected to Congress in the past.

  22. The problem is the Committee is restrained by Garland and his lack of investigating and using all of the evidence the Committee has so methodically attained. Now, Trump's team has "leaked" that he'll be announcing his 2024 run in the next few days. What a great strategy given that Garland seems literally petrified to appear to be even a smidgeon partisan, meaning, garland will NEVER pursue holding Trump accountable even if Trump confessed on every news outlet in the US. Don't bother to reply that Garland is making sure his ducks are in a row -- The Jan 6 Committee doesn't even believe Garland is bothering to pursue any of the evidence they've uncovered. I'll take the collective words of the Committee over my own hope Garland is actually investigating. The only reason he raised Clark's home and took Eastman's phone is he was backed into a corner from 10.5 hours of the Jan 6 hearing. Then, to FINALLY request transcripts of testimony from over 1,000 individuals.... All I can say is wtf garland, WTF?

It's gotten to a point that if Garland is going to continue to completely dishonor all of the previous oaths he took in the course of his career to honor our Constitution, I'd rather not learn any more of the past crimes and the current incredible threat that Trump & Gang pose to our nation. It would be less worrisome. Schiff and his colleagues NEED to lean on Biden to have him strongly urge Garland to either appoint a Special Prosecutor OR to have him resign asap & appoint an AG replacement. I've written every Dem in Congress that I've donated to from 2018-2021 and explained that I will not be making any additonal donations to the UNTIL they've put adequate pressure on the WH as stated above.

He calling it political prosecutorial misconduct is rich given that Michael Cohen has a civil suit against Barr for putting him back in prison because Cohen wouldn't agree to waive his rights by not writing a book about trump. I can't wait to see Barr's deposition in Cohen's suit. Didn't Barr also travel with Durham to Europe (Italy) specifically to try and dig up political dirt on Democrats?

A grand jury with indictment powers simply hear the basics of a case and then, they decide IF there's enough evidence to show a crime MIGHT have been committed. GJs are not trials. I realize you think you know all about the law from your personal experience, but get back to me when you've spent 3 years in law school and have become licensed in at least one state. BTW, Bragg did allow Trump to present rebuttal witnesses, including trump himself. Trump literally declined to testify and asked (and was granted) if Costello could testify for him. Bragg did not have any legal obligations to allow this, but he did.

  40. Yes, and do you know WHY they were there in June? They had a subpoena to retrieve the documents but trump refused to allow them to take them. So, they asked him to put a padlock on the door because every employee and guest could go in there. WHY didn't trump cooperate and give them the items then? He's a former president. It shouldn't take a search warrant to get governt classified documents back that he's not supposed to have. WHY did the FBI have to go that far?
