How can there be a big enough leak to cut water to tens of thousands of homes but they haven't been able to locate the leak after 4 days? The state was given $480 million in federal money specifically towards replacing the water system in Jackson, but the governor threw 1/10 of the money to Jackson and spent the rest of the $440 million elsewhere 8n the state. Jackson is 78% black. I'm sure that has nothing to do with it. 🙄

There are documented suicides indicating the individuals could not continue experiencing the intense and horrific withdrawals, and unfortunately, rehab centers (the initial, medically-assisted part), have no protocol for the treatment of tianeptine addiction. The other drug, Tranq, literally rots tissue/muscle/skin and continued use WILL cause death. In what sci-fi world would continuous decaying tissue not kill you? BTW, what is the basis for you stating you "doubt it can kill you" ? What literature is that from?

  15. Please don't start with that tired wornout "guns don't kill people, people kill people" line. Cars don't kill people, it's the driver's driving them, but we still put parameters and safety measures in place to lower the risk of fatalities in car accidents. One political party is claiming it's all mental health, but that same party recently refused to pass legislation to fund mental health programs. I can't wrap my brain around why those same politicians won't even agree to making a "Violent History Check" a requirement to purchase a gun. More than 80% of current gun owners are in favor of it, but those politicians still won't agree to it. I'm sure most politicians would actually like to have stricter gun control laws but they like the NRA dollars more.

  16.  @citacita7889  Like any metropolitan city, Chicago has safe areas and not so safe areas. I loved living downtown in my 20s and now my daughter just bought her first home in Chicago. I don't worry about her being in Chicago any more than I worry about my other daughter who doesn't live there. The three largest cities in Ohio have higher murder rates per capita than Chicago or New York City.

  17. @Jon Smyth Live rounds are not allowed on set, period. Actors firing cosmetic or flash rounds is all that's allowed. The best firearms expert in the country can't visually see any difference between a loaded cosmetic round and a real bullet and neither would Alec Baldwin -- I'm definitely not a fan of him, but he is not guilty, even of negligence. The laws and regulations on movie sets in any state specifically ban live rounds. It has been this way for decades and NO ONE even has to ask if any gun on any set is loaded with any real bullets
