@joebenson528 It was established during the trial by the prosecution AND the defenses that Arbery tried to run in a different direction and away from the men THREE times, and each time he did, they followed him in the truck. He even ran in a 180 from the truck and went directly behind the truck. That's when the one in the other truck quickly sped up and boxed him in. So, don't make it out like the video is showing the ONLY encounter between them all. Arbery attempted to get away from them because he felt threatened by them and rightfully so. He knew he was in danger from them long before the video starts rolling. The video starts after he had been in fight or flight mode for quite a bit. He'd already tried flight/fleeing 3 times and was left with no alternative at that point but to fight for his life. Which he did.

Bartleby How would you take it if 3 men in 2 trucks with one man standing in the bed of one the trucks holding a shotgun (perpendicular to his body) were following you no matter which way you turned? Bear in mind this is south Georgia with a lot of history. How would you view it if this had been a young female jogger that had men with shotguns following her? Do you think she would think, "I have three men with guns and they are clearly following and trying to stop me. I shouldn't be fearful at all. I'm sure they just want to talk."

@StitchesStatistic08 and he cocked his own gun as heard in the video. He thought he was going to be some type of hero that would exonerate his buddies by turning in the footage he had taken instead of being found guilty of participating in the murder. Which is exactly what he did.

@shakdidagalimal The video doesn't show anyone lunging for the gun. It's obvious that the gun was pointed at arbery and he must have been threatened with it. Otherwise, why would anyone try to take a shotgun out of someone else's hands UNLESS he or she was threatened by the person w/the gun? No one would attempt to disarm someone holding a shotgun who was peacefully going about their own business. That's a ridiculous accusation I keep seeing in the comment sections. I'm so sure you've been in the same situation, uh huh. Sure.

RIP Rep. Lewis -- a GREAT, GREAT MAN, who served his country and fought for every single person in our country for almost 7 decades.

The one who filmed was actually one of the 3 defendants.

@mram7715 you do know that it was established during the trial by the prosecution AND backed up by the defenses that Arbery ran away from the truck THREE times TRYING to get away from the father and son, BUT EACH of the THREE tines, they followed him iin the street in whatever direction/new street he continued running down, even backing up once when he began to run in the complete opposite direction of the truck which put him behind their truck. What did they do? They reversed their truck and the truck driven by the guy filming it, sped up and Arbery became blocked in between the 2 trucks. From your comment, it sounds like you either weren't aware of these facts established by ALL sides during the trial or you purposely ignored and left them out with your racist dog whistle comment.

@dudes420 Wow. You should have been his defense attorney because during cross she didn't object when her client admitted the proposed lunge was not captured in the video. She even talked about it in her closing. If you fast forward off & on trying to find it in her closing argument and get to the long, dirty toenails, you've FF too far.
