Why would Meadows get a deal after lying under oath. That doesn't make him a good witness for Fani.

@cathyyonce8492 Because it's illegal? Trump is already charged with witness intimidation. He tries to frighten people into covering for him. That said, I feel certain that Meadows has the goods to nail Trump. So, Trump will tread carefully around Meadows and others who can put him away. Trump should be worried about Chesebro and Powell going first. If they are found guilty, they may offer to give up the goods in exchange for a reduced sentence.

@natsterjam I agree. I think that's why Trump isn't helping to pay their defense attys. He knows they can't flip. Trump knows Fani already handed out all of her immunity stones to the 30 unindicted co-conspirators referenced in the indictment.

@kdmdlo if Meadows gets on the stand and says it was all Trump, the first thing Trump's atty is going to ask during cross is, "Are you receiving anything from the DA in exchange for your testimony?" followed by references to each lie told on the stand (last week). It will reflect poorly on Willis/Smith prosecution. It's already going to be an issue that half of the witnesses are unindicted co-conspirators.

The only way Trump can help his co-conspirators is by taking the blame himself. That's not happening.
