@paulkiefer5455 I think it's a bit unfair to pass judgement on someone else's childhood by simply comparing it to your experiences. Something as simple as growing up in an urban or rural area, whether your parents could afford cable, if there was only a single TV, esp if it was your only source of news, whether your parents were interested in politics and if it was discussed in your house. A lot of people don't get interested in politics until well after becoming an adult. Someone could grow up with personal beliefs much different than their parents but not actually realize that those stances are also politically related. More importantly, given the current GOP, we need to support people who finally see what they're doing and choose to leave the party. Chastising them certainly isn't inviting to someone even thinking about making a change.
