I just cannot imagine anyone 40yo and up who could possibly vote for any Republican for the sole reason that they're likely to lose 11.66% of every dollar they've ever earned for the last 20-30+ years. That's a LOT of money! Most companies did away with pensions and the older you are, the more likely you are depending upon SS and Medicare for retirement. So, how come the older a person is, the more likely they are to vote Republican? It just doesn't make sense!

@lloydfraser2801 Ever since the filibuster rule changed in the Senate, I'm surprised anything passes. Nothing is going to get done while we have a near 50/50 Senate and House. I think we need a 1-3more political parties

I think they are: behind closed doors trying to figure out how they can abolish SS and Medicare while somehow blaming it on Democrats.

@pennyporras1980 Honestly, the Republicans in office don't seem to really care about anyone except themselves. They don't mind ending SS/Medicare for older folks and they don't want to help cut a little off of the student loan balances for younger folks. IF you're a Republican voter, I'd seriously like to know why you support them. It can't be abortion since Roe v Wade was overturned. So, what have Republicans done to TRY to improve your life? I am seriously asking because I just don't get it.
