@RadagastBrown420 I don't think it was garland who wanted to ignore Trump's crimes and not indict him. I think it was Biden's wishes that the DOJ ignore Trump's crimes. Before nominating Garland, Biden had Garland agree not to prosecute Trump. It's the reason Mitch McConnell supported Garland's nomination so quickly and got the GOP Senate on board. During his first 12-18 months in office, Biden often said we needed to "unite, leave the past in the past and move forward." Garland saw Trump's announcement he was running as an opportunity to appoint a Special Prosecutor, and while he could have selected someone like Durham or Kenneth Starr, he didn't. He chose Jack Smith -- someone he KNEW would thoroughly investigate Trump, wouldn't be intimidated by him, and would be quick doing it (Smith has only been investigating since November). I used to feel the same way as you about Garland, but I've had some time to reflect on things, and I've changed my mind.

@judydolympia5484 ABSOLUTELY!! And with everything Biden has done for Joe Manchin only to have Manchin basically give Biden the finger by "contemplating" a run as a 3rd party candidate!! It boils my blood. No-Labels knows EXACTLY what it's doing.
