  4. McCarthy sure will. He needs Santos's vote to be Speaker. After that, McCarthy will care less what happens to Santos. Santos's Democratic opponent calling for a special election between the two now that voters know the truth, shows the integrity of the Democrat. If roles were reversed, the GOP would demand their candidate automatically be declared the new winner.

  5. I think the NY Times reporter who broke the story days after the election needs to explain why he held onto the knowledge until after the election. There's no way he discovered that long list of lies in a week. There's some reason he waited.
