@queenslander954 Just as devious but not as narcissistic to believe he'd get away with it. Wasn't it in 2017 that Trump made the statement that if he shot someone, he wouldn't lose a single supporter? I don't think anyone but him believed it at the time, except him.

Perhaps, one of his "customers" from a foreign country will begin to believe trump won't keep their exchange private and making trump a huge liability. Tyrants prefer to get rid of all liabilities. Maybe, Putin will end up helping us salvage US democracy in our constitutional republic.

@seanswinton6242 Ivanka and Jared do live fairly close to Mar-a-Lago. Jared also said in a Sky News interview today that he has no intention of working in the WH again if his father-in-law wins in 2024. I actually think Jared might be the initial leaker to the FBI/DOJ. Jared got everything he needed and wanted during the first four years, and he likely realizes the jeopardy Trump would put his WH advisors in if he's elected in 2024 and begins "Trump's Revenge Tour '25"

@billybobkumar9231 Look at the slack the FBI and DOJ are receiving for executing the search warrant. I would imagine they might be skiddish getting a judge to sign a subpoena to overrule his financial privacy and force financial institutions to hand over his financial info. IF he sold classified information, I'm sure that Trump would set up an exchange of money in a way that would go under the radar, including fake accounts in the country(ies) that purchased the information. He could also accept a deal to provide documents today, get paid 24 months from now. It's quite frightening. If Garland needed confirmation that Republicans would continue to support Trump no matter what, he received that confirmation.

@gulfmarine8857 I'm pleased to hear that. I'm just not so sure that the US Marine Corp has enough to overpower, or even control, 74 million armed and "blood-thirsty" trump followers taking to the streets.
