Only if we can get the percentage of younger voters to turn up at the polls! They have by far the lowest rate with only 14% going to the polls in the last presidential election -- Perhaps, the threat of a nationwide abortion ban and the desire for gun control will prompt more to vote next November.

I like Buttigieg, but he's too much of a corporate Democrat for me. I'd rather have someone like Bernie or Katie Porter who doesn't take money and orders from corporations and would like to see those corporations paying their fair share of taxes -- something Buttigieg is against.

@mtaylor7307 There are currently enough that are eligible to vote to get most of the GOP out, but they simply don't turn out to vote. In 2020 and 2022, the 18-24yo had a 14% and 12% turnout, respectively. That's, by far, the lowest. Younger voters want more progressive candidates -- not corporate Democrats like Biden and Buttigieg. As for "Boomers" -- they are actually voting and taking an interest in making this country better for the Z-generation.

@Erin-Thor I wouldn't want to support a Buttigieg ticket, but that GOP voter motivation is there with Biden on the ticket, as well.
