@mercifuldev Unfortunately, we are past the "They go low; We go high," era. When Democrats take the moral approach, the GOP takes advantage of it. The Dems are up for negotiating in good faith, but the members of GOP in Congress wil barely even contemplate a Bill sponsored by Democrats. Those like Boebert and Traitor-Greene won't even read a bill sponsored by Democrats. Although, to be fair, I'm not so sure those two read anything job-related as it's obvious neither has read our Constitution. The Dems need to fight fire with fire, imho.

Even if states codify Roe v Wade, if the Republicans get control of the US Congress, they can implement a federal abortion ban, and a federal ban will override any state's legislation that codifies a woman's right to an abortion.
