Since it's a friend, my suggestion is that you actually mourn the loss of your friendship... Even going so far as to have an actual "ceremony" for your personal loss.   3. ​ @ninamorse4677  try to give your bestie some grace. He or she has quite literally been brainwashed and has been absorbed into a cult. The first step for deprogramming a Trumper is for them to 100% disengage from all Fox, newsmax, etc viewing, including independent social media videos for at least 30 days. Then, the deprogramming can start. Ideally, that should really include a professional familiar with cults, but if that's not an option, there are several websites to help those trying to help the loved ones of cultists. I cannot stress it enough that the cult patient remove ALL outside media for at least 4 weeks.
