  1.  @joshlock4627  Regardless of thoughts on guilt or innocence and evidence aside, this assistant DA should never have been assigned this case. But, since he was and even though it doesn't happen often, I'm very surprised his boss, the DA, didn't do some employee shuffling and have co-counsel take the lead roll even midway through. Whenever there's obvious friction between an attorney, esp the prosecutor, and the judge in a case, it's best to have your co-counsel take a more prominent position. When there is attorney-judge friction it's usually with a member of the defense not the state.
