  1. The White House sends exclusive press releases to Fox and in order to keep receiving those releases, Fox airs every single one of them. This feels short because there is no live footage and viewers don't want to sit and watch a still of the White House. Bottom line is there's no action it it.

  2. Trump is obviously laying low and Fox has little to report on/defend when that happens. So, newbies do these segments. I'm sure political commentators like Tucker and Hannity would turn their noses up at doing an actual news report.
