  2. ​ @yvonnebraun020  It's hard to believe the GOP has refused over and over to even propose immigration reform. The GOP hasn't proposed a single immigration reform Bill in over 30 years! Why not? Let the Democrats vote it down and answer to the voters! I'm beginning to think none of the Republicans are bothering to sponsor an immigration bill because they like having immigration as a campaign talking point!

  4. Why did the GOP insist on reducing the number of Border agents by 3,300? Why hasn't the GOP proposed a single Bill on immigration reform for at least 30 years? I'm beginning to think they like to keep immigration as it is so they can have a campaign talking point!

  5. Well, when the GOP insisted on slashing the budget of the Border Patrol and cut 3,300 border security positions at the southern border, what were we expecting to happen? It seems they'd rather keep immigration reform as a campaign promise year-after-year than actually put forth any type of reform bill. They haven't proposed one in over 30 years!

  7. ​ @promethiac2641  100%. I've been waiting for Republicans to introduce an immigration reform bill for over 3 decades. I think they'd rather immigration reform as a campaign promise and talking point to help them get re-elected because they sure as hell haven't attempted to do anything about it. They slashed the Border Patrol budget and reduced the number of agents on the southern border by 3,300.
