  1.  @Mushimiya  I'm guessing that you didn't realize that Jordan's mother, Lucy McBath, was prompted by this event-- the murder of her only child, AS WELL AS, Trump's and the GOP's lack of concern over any type of real gun-control to run for a House seat in Congress as a Democrat. So, YES, the death of this young man, who had his life unnecessarily cut far, far too short, DOES have a political edge to it. In 2018, Lucy won her first attempt at running for any public office outside of a position on a middle school's PTA board. She unseated a 26 year fixture of the GOP , Karen Handel. She proudly and successfully represents hers AND my district in Georgia; and I not only enjoy having Lucy as my House Congressional Representative, I have also enjoyed and have had the pleasure of working side-by-side Lucy at a commercial airline for almost 30 years. Trump's behavior and lack of empathy and concern for shooting victims is a huge reason that she decided to run for office. If you still do not think that this crime and my comment(s) is intricately linked to politics, please explain to me how so. FYI: The comment I equated to Trump Followers held this description, as follows: --Whiny --Triggered (easily) --Racist Check, Check, and Check. The only possible exception is "Creep", and that's ONLY because I do not resort to using descriptive terms that shouldn't even be used on middle school playgrounds -- Given that it's a regular "go-to" term used by Trump and his Followers, it likely is deserved to be on this list as an accurate adjective, but I'm not quite ready to stoop to the distasteful tactics so often seen from the GOP, especially from the highest ranking member of the GOP. They gave turned our nation into the laughingstock of the world, even in the two countries that our "leader" has sucked up to time and time again: Russian and North Korea.

  3. The mom of the boy that was murdered, Jordan Davis, is Lucy McBath. She's now a Congresswoman from Georgia and ran partly on gun control. I worked with her as a flight attendant at Delta and now she represents my district in Washington. I cannot imagine what she went and still goes through losing her child in this manner. I'm glad she was able to use some of her grief to help prevent this from happening to others, especially children.
