The British Govt should respond to Musk on BlueSky where he cant delete your responses!
67
They don't want him either
15
Just ask his own children... Oh, wait. Bad example
14
It's estimated there are more than twice as many Hamas fighters today than there were in Oct 2023
10
The problem is that anyone who contradicts Elon, ESPECIALLY with facts, Musk just removes them from twitter. It's not a level playing field. Ignore him. He'll eventually go away
9
That's because they think everyone else is just like them.

@holden6104 no. There were no predictions in 2016 like that. Why can't you answer what policy he passed that helps the majority of Americans. You can't. There was none. NONE
7
But, he wasn't ignored. That's the problem
6
@chrisr3570 Actually, iSteal has claimed that all 3 are dead

@graemecreegan6749 Why should a person who receives a valuable asset worth over a million dollars and that they did not work for not be taxed on it? Are lottery winnings not taxed in the UK?

@mikebassett9195 These farms are not small farms that sell a few dozen eggs and fresh vegetables in a farmer's market stall or in the riadways. These are basically the equivalent of large, privately owned corporations. They produce the raw materials that are used for goods sold in grocery stores. Instead of collecting the inheritance tax on them, the alternative might be to increase the tax on the products they produce and pass it on to the consumer. Would that be better ? Then, EVERYONE else can pay the inheritance taxes instead of the privately owned corporations. If you inherit your parents' house/property, why should you pay a higher percentage of inheritance tax your neighbor who inherits his parents' property/house just because it's classified as farmland. Help me to understand why you believe this.

Remember 14 years ago when he said he'd have a man on Mars in 10 years?

@jacobcohen9205 it is literally YOU making claims and not backing them up.
4
@YTguySmithy-lk6go That's the point. It was immoral

In america, Trump tainted the definition of "Patriot". In Britain, it was the Monarchy that tainted the definition.
3
@anfg7376 if that is accurate , it means that eventually there will be no farms.

Methanol is like antifreeze. It's not homemade alcohol

@michaeljohnangel6359 I've been to 52+ countries, and Italians seem like one of the happiest and most contented group of citizens that I've seen. That said, your newest PM is a right wing nut
2
@AlexHamilton86 How is regulating supermarkets going to make farming more profitable and eliminate subsidies? You can eliminate subsidies by selling what farmers produce at a price that IS profitable... Then, everyone can enjoy higher food costs.
2
@jacobcohen9205 So, since some missiles got through, is the Iron Dome also anti-smitic?
2
Only those drinking alcohol that would hide the taste.

@The_Crimson_Witch Trump isn't doing a single thing because it helps Americans. He does everything for his personal benefit and if it happens to help a majority of Americans, it's just a byproduct. If it harms Americans, he could care less. Trump is out for Trump.
1
@lu544 I think you're wrong. Trump is going to pull the US out of NATO. The EU countries will NEED each other. Trump would support anything Putin wants to do, including helping Russia take all of Ukraine and, if possible, all of continental Europe
1
@lennoxmate4064 Not really a persuasive argument. That is 2 people out of how many million? I bet we can find two Brits who moved to Italy for better opportunities.
1
@Jonny-uu7wf and Americans are going to experience moderate to severe hardships under Trump and Project 2025. They are planning to basically isolate the US from the rest of the world. Trump is planning to remove the US from NATO. If that happens, the 51.5% of Brits who vote for brexit are going to regret their votes

@oldfrittenfett1276 I cannot think of a better analogy as an American voter than what you have written. May I use your comment in the future? I would like to repeat it to Trump followers* while we still can express opposition to our government officials in the US. Trump has vowed and Project 2025 has a directive to yank the FCC licenses from any media organizations and ban social media sites that convey anything negative about Trump or his federal government. I think your snake analogy may stick in their minds when they realize they were warned many, many times. Unfortunately, by the time they do realize it, the damage will be done and likely irreversible.

@sheldonjohnson6117 im a white woma, and i knew decades ago. However, ive travelled to over 52 countries. For 34 years, I spent 10 days of every month in a foreign country. So, I was exposed to a lot more than most Americans. 30% of Americans have never been outside of their own state, and for many of those who have gone out of the US, they mean on their carnival cruise ti the Bahamas. I had to go to an ER in London and have a doctor come to my hotel in Paris in my mid 20s. I didn't pay a dime either time. That's what initially got me interested in politics researching what other countries were doing that was well received by their citizens. Money is a huge issue in politics in the US. Our House reps soend the first year of their

@DeWo-m6q Well, it's that or everyone pays 30-60% more for the food they buy.

@TheRealBot001 ou should read the comment directly above yours

@MattJBarnes Solar panels vs destruction of the planet. Not a difficult choice.

It's illegal to sell your vote in the US. That's why you don't get a "receipt" with your choices on it.

You really want a foreigner running your domestic policy?
