  2. My county is the second most populated in my state and the county is desperate for election workers because of the way many voters have treated them since 2020. It didn't help that our decades long red heavy county flipped in 2020. In fact, our county was selected by our state to do a signature match on the mail in ballots with FBI agents overseeing it. There were two agents per election worker. Out of 80k mailed ballots, ten signatures were suspect. Out of those 10, there was ONE that proved to be a "forged" signature and the FBI agents went to the voter's residence. The wife admitted she signed her husband's ballot because of his physical disability. 80k and maga is STILL claiming there were tens of thousands of fake ballots. I know a couple of poll workers who actually believe this even though they know exactly how many checks there are

  3. ​I know quite a few people who would never have an abortion unless medically necessary and believe it is murder but they consider themselves pro-chouce because, while they would not choose it for themselves, the decision is a personal one. So, no. Not everyone who is pro choice feels the way you've stated.

  4. ​ @Mop-x8z  you should spend a few minutes looking up how abortion became associated with religion by evangelical leaders. It will be eye opening. Hell, the others spent weeks trying to convince Jimmy Falwell that he would be able to convince the religious right that abortion was murder. Abortion became a hot button issue because evangelical leaders realized they would be given a tremendous amount of power and hoarders more money if they incorporated politics into their preaching by targeting abortions as murder.

  5. The attitude of the US is punishment focused instead of rehabilitation focused. The western countries with the lowest recidivism rates are rehabilitative. The US has one of the very highest rates of repeat offenders because one felony charge sets a person up for lifelong failure.

  7. ​ @TheresaReichley  Every one of the swing states has remedies for election officials who opt not to certify results, including a writ of mandamus ( emergency court relief) and laws to compel an official to certify the tabulated results under threat of removal and/or criminal charges. It will be much easier for judges to take the latter actions in instances of a landslide win for candidates vs a few hundred or even thousand votes margin.

Georgia's SoS, raffensberger,out a link on the SOS website that allows anyone to anonymously report a voter as no longer being eligible to vote because of "check one"... No longer living at that address/county/state, died, etc.
