He never straight out tells someone to break the law, and Trump was very careful with what he said on that phone call to Raffensberger. I hope there are enough eyewitnesses with Trump who can testify to what trump said his intentions were before the phone call.

  8. If you're in Texas and vote by mail, make sure to return your ballot early on and then confirm it was ACCEPTED (different than received).

  9.  @klocke-hx3xl  If you're purged from the voter roll, your registration has to reflect this. They just don't have to send you a notice anymore. The best thing to do for those who can is to vote on day 1 or 2 of early, in-person voting so if something is wrong, it can be corrected and you can vote.

  15. I think you should change the title to "Your Vote MAY Not Count in Texas..." I'd hate for people to think it's not worth them even bothering to vote! It'd be a great idea to add ways for people in Texas (outside of Houston) under these new laws to ensure their vote is counted. Checking before the registration deadline that they are still registered. Voting on day 1-2 of early, in-person voting so issues can be resolved in time, etc. As for those in counties/county with 2.7 million, there's not much one can do except vote and hope the DOJ steps in if Texas tries to throw out those votes.

  17. Carter also didn't get credit for getting the 6 Americans who had escaped the embassy and were hiding in the Canadian Ambassador's residence. Carter's administration arranged the escape under the guise of scouting a location for a fake movie but had the Canadian gov't take credit for it so that it wouldn't be taken out on the Americans still captive..
