  1. At least this state judge had 6 cases to reference. Aileen Cannon had zero experience being a state judge and had only been involved in a single case that went to trial while she wasl an attorney --she want even the lead counsel on that case. She stated her career on the bench in Feb 2021 and she's presided over 4 trials in total. Two of those 4 saw their jury's guilty verdicts tossed out on lby TBD appellate court specifically because of Cannon. If she had at least been a courtroom attorney for half a dozen years, maybe she wouldn't have forgotten to swear-in the jurors. With a rad "more" experience in a courtroom, she mauly decides to listen to the defense atty AND the prosecutor both telling her she was wrong when she refused to allow the defendant to have a single supporter, his mother, present in the gallery during trial. This defendant was also found guilty by the jury, but the appeals court had to toss out the verdict because of Cannon's elementary error. I have never seen a NY one even get nominated with so little experience.

  2. I don't actually disagree with anything Cruz said in this clip, but I do wonder how Cruz voted on Cannons nomination. She didn't even have experience in a courtroom even as an attorney before her nomination. She likely knew less about US law that most 2nd year law students.
