  1. ​​ @samcotten2416  Do you think senators don't have a responsibility to vet nominees? Confirmation hearings are also useful to the Presidents who nominate the individuals. There have been several candidates who have had the respective sitting Presidents change their minds about their nominees because of what was presented in a hearing.

Apparently, all you need to be the HHS Secretary is think people should eat healthier and want vaccine research to have good science.
