I worked for an NFL team that I will not name that BF also worked for (narrows it down to two), and there's a reason NONE of his fellow players would socialize with him on away trips. NONE. He's not the beloved player on the field that he was off of the field.

@jacquelynmiller6 Absolutely agree. But, this should bring media attention regardless of which retired athlete it is, BUT Brett Farve even more so.

@samuelcantley5500 Almost every person in the US Government either participated or looked the other way at what was done and is still being done to native Americans. Most Americans don't even know what the "Trail of Tears" is. Don't stop screaming it from the rooftops, but also don't stop looking for the most productive means to make your point AND the history known.

You're damn right. The state was given the money to fix it :$440 million from the federal govt. Biden even mentioned Jackson in his press conference about the Bill passing Yet, the governor only sent $4 million of the 440 million to help Jackson. That's why the water isn't an issue in the suburbs. It's about to be FOUR MONTHS that Jackson residents haven't had clean water. Not only is the state not giving out enough free water to every resident, there are plenty of people, esp elderly, that cannot get into their car and pay for cases of water. THAT'S an even bigger scandal than Farve's, imho. Both need to be investigated and prosecuted, but people in Jackson needed water yesterday!

I've seen this covered on CNN and MSNBC, even BBC. Local Atlanta news stations are covering it. Unfortunately, it's a side story after the water crisis in Jackson.
