Of course, they do. BUT, you cannot "think" yourself into a healthy weight. The first thing that must be done, is a person must ge themselves to a point where their health, specifically their weight, is not an IMMEDIATE threat to their lives and that can be done most efficient and effectively through weight loss. Aside from that, they did show clips of them talking with therapists, it just wasn't highlighted as often as the exercising. As for time for themselves: I was a working single mom since my two children were 1yo & 2yo (now 24 & 25), and every mother is stretched thin on time for themselves. However, to get and to stay this morbidly obese, an individual has to spend much more time eating than the average person. You don't get to and remain over 500 lbs from spending just 20 minutes a day eating dinner. You are making excuses for people getting and staying morbidly obese, and if you are doing this to people in your life, you're not doing them any favors. I'm not saying that obese people don't need compassion. I'm saying you're not doing them any favors by enabling their behaviors.

@sippyber I think you are missing the point. Pizza, whether a homemade, healthier version or a store bought frozen type, it's not healthy to live eating pizza alone. Had the guy in this video loaded his pizza up with veggies and had a fruit for dessert, he would not be in the shape he is in. MOST people do as we saw him do: they eat cheese, pepperoni, or supreme (with meats). It is NOT healthy to eat cheese or pepperoni pizza, even with a 100% whole wheat crust (not so good, imo) 24/7. If someone wants to indulge in pizza quote often (but not 24/7), then, if course, I'd steer them towards your suggestions: homemade crust version OR if dining out, a margherita (tomatoes, fresh mozz & basil)!
EDIT: His shellfish pasta at the restaurant was not much different from pizza. The only thing missing was his usual cheese. White flour pasta with tomato sauce and shellfish -- he might as well of had a cheeseless pizza w/shrimp. A better option would have been primavera with a little parmesan than what he ordered. But, at least he's willing to try new foods AND swallow them. So many in these videos can't or won't even swallow a nibble if broccoli!
I DO get what you're saying. When eating pizza out, I usually order a margherita with extra basil. I just think in his instance, he was missing out on a variety of foods. When I found myself needing to lose a few pounds but still wanting to eat a healthy diet (nothing extreme like cutting out carbs completely, etc), I used low-fat, lower calorie meal plans AND margherita pizza was definitely included b/c just as you say, it's fairly healthy. It's filling given its calories while still being lower in fat!

@ericzerkle5214 I spend 3 months in London, 3 in Buenos Aires and 6 in Atlanta every year for the last six. Trust me when I tell you I'm tired of defending myself against being categorized as being like Trump for 6 months of each year when I am not in the US. At least 3/4 of everyone I come in contact with that quickly recognizes I am an American, immediately begins talking about Trump. They do so in a way that indicates, collectively, they believe all Americans are either like him, back him or both. I am none of those, and it is not too much of an issue if this happens outside of work in a social setting or even in a supermarket, but work introductions over the last 3 years have been much different than they were in the first 3 years. Since Trump was initially elected to office 3 years ago, it has progressively gotten worse. People outside of the US, maybe even outside of North America, have this notion that most, if not all, Americans support Trump and also hold what he, by his behavior and his words, has put forth as his morals and belief system. You are probably right. I have been conditioned to automatically "go there" (defend myself as not being aligned with Trump) in many situations I encounter outside the US. This video obviously wasn't produced in the US and I automatically defended myself and the majority of Americans as being as anti-trump as the overwhelming majority of both Britons and Argentinians currently are -- or at least, present themselves as being.

@uwu グーチ owo Oh my goodness. How old you?? I should actually ask how young you are! In the grown-up's world, you cannot just grab a false idea that pops into your head and then roll with it as though it were fact. You've written a novel-lengthy diatribe about me and your made-up idea that I married my sister. That's not how things work in real life -- of course Trump does the same thing. So, I don't know why I'd expect less from you, likely a child of a parent who voted/supports him. It must be horrible growing up in a racist home. I am and others in the "normal, free-thinking" world of society offer our apologies, and I will pray for you. BTW, I, like both of my parents, do not have siblings. Given that, I hope your intellect has developed far enough along for you to understand that means I also don't have any cousins. I'm not going to reply to any further comments of yours directed towards me because it simply wouldn't be appropriate given either your very young age AND/OR you possessing a very young, immature if you will, intellect. I didn't "pick on little kids" when I was a child, and I'm certainly have no desire to do so now!

@caroll6541 I used to do the interior Christmas decorating for a very wealthy family, and along with a house manager, a nanny for each child, two housekeepers, and a chef, they also had two full-time drivers. When the mother rode in the back of the limo when a driver would pick up the children from school, she truly thought she was "doing car pool". She was about 40-43yo and she had only been inside a grocery store as a child. She would get her facial injections during the week of Thanksgiving so she'd be ready for all of the holidays parties. When she had her lips injected, they would swell and she would have a lisp for a day or two, and she told everyone she'd just come from the dentist. However, she was quite sweet, but her perspective of the world was not based in most people's reality.
