33:00 Why on earth would you ever say "I'm scared of the dentist," in front of your child? I'm sorry for being so judgemental, but there is a LOT to judge in this video.

New parents: Take juice boxes to restaurants and to birthday parties for your children to drink. When your kids asked for coke/soda, try what I did. I put tonic water in an empty Sprite can. Neither of my children drink soft drinks and they're in their late 20s.

True. I took juice boxes for my children to drink at birthday parties when coke/sprite was being served. The day came when they both begged to have a soft drink. So, I emptied a sprite bottle and filled it with tonic. Neither asked for it again. Trickery? Yes, but both are in their late 20s and aside from a morning coffee, they only drink water. However, I can see that parents who are strapped for time might turn to quick, take-out meals. The easier part is saying "No" early on. It's a lot easier than enforcing it after 6+ months of eating whatever they want.

Michael isn't hungry at meal times. That's part of the issue.

Rule #1 :. Don't take your child food shopping if you can help it!

Could it be that parents have to work so many hours that time-saving meals are necessary for some parents? That said, I was a single mom of two infants and it wasn't until my mother took them to McDonald's when they were 4yo did they have their first french fry or chicken nugget. They had only ever had apple slices and milk from McDonald's before that. Even that single trip and order of fries had me hearing, "I want fren-fwies" for weeks

That's more calories than the average toddler even needs per day and that's without the first bite of solid food

They probably don't want the "chemicals" in the diet version. Lol

On the surface, I have to agree. There are a few other dynamics working, but the parents don't persevere. When it takes a child tasting something 15 times before ending up liking it, perseverance is a must.

@andreaaldrich4046 I was being sarcastic.
