  1. They mistake his rudeness for him being a truth-teller. The reason they think he actually tells the truth is because he says things like "Ted Cruz's wife is ugly" and calls Elizabeth Warren Pocahontas. THAT'S the type of things he says that makes them think he's so honest. As for the actual lies he tells on continuous basis are all backed up by Fox news. In turn, Trump backs up the kies Fox tells. Watters claimed Black people are now relating to Trump over his mugshot, and Trump turns around and says he's gained an additional 30% of tbe Black and Latino vote. Of course,neither is backed up any actual facts. There's no polling to support it, but his followers actually believe that's true now.
