No, they did set things up so the president would not have the power of a king. This ruling has to do with criminal liability. I hope Biden takes advantage of his newfound freedom from liability...

@adrianwebster6923 Actually, it was the GOP in Congress that convinced Nixon to resign because they were in favor of impeaching and removing him. Under this ruling, Nixon didn't need a pardon... And what Nixon did wouldn't even make headlines if Trump did the same. I hope Biden shows everyone how dangerous this ruling is by exercising his newfound freedom from liability
