  3. I suggest everyone watch Frank Schaeffer's interview on CNN. It will open your eyes a bit to who Jerry Falwell, Billy Graham, and others really are and why they flipped from saying and believing abortion is not a sin to saying it is -- only saying it is not believing it is. Schaeffer's book is confirmation that you can make any evangelical believe anything if you tell them it's how to interpret a particular passage in the Bible. Christians think Christianity is based upon love and kindness and that people are attracted to Christianity because of the love and kindness. However, Christianity acquires and retains members through fear just like the GOP.
