  2. Whenever I hear a young person say they support Trump, it's almost always because they think Trump is a rebel of some sort. They mistake his bullying and insults of others to mean he's "brutally honest". When he's insulting others is the only time he occasionally tells the truth. Any sentence Trump staets with "I", you can be assured a lie is going ti follow.

  15. Beau of the 5th Column purposely uses ambiguous titles for his videos in order to attract viewers that normally wouldn't click on them. If only 60-90 seconds is heard by people who need to watch them, you may have a few that change their minds and won't vote for Trump.

  16. The only thing I can say about that is, I can sip a glass of wine for an hour and feel perfectly fine to function, but one small pull on a joint leaves me basically incapacitated for 3-4 hours. Because of how it seems to affect others more mildly, I can only assume those voting to keep it illegal must have a reaction similar to mine. Because it is not in a federal classification necessary to widely test it, I think at the very least, it should have the necessary classification for wide-range medical testing, including federal grants.

  19. Honestly, We should have had an open Democratic Primary and biden should have stuck to his original campaign primise to only run one term. Ill vote for the Dem nominee, but id feel a lot more comfortable if it was another dem on the ballot.

  23. Biden is most definitely the better candidate. A baked potato as President would be less harmful than a Trump WH. I wish David or SOMEONE on YT would do a video on Project 2025. Every single issue is secondary to keeping Trump out of the WH. Keeping DeSantis and Vivek out is almost just as important.

I quite LITERALLY walked into my session with HIGH suicidal ideation and 46 minutes after I walked out, I no longer even considered suicide as an option. That is HUGE.   35. Iowa and Ohio and Tennessee definitely need to be on your list. I traveled about a third of each month for my job for over 30 years. I chose to go on early maternity leave with each pregnancy because of the accumulated radiation when flying as there were few medical studies on its impact on pregnancies at that time (may have changed since, but flying near the Poles has the radiation equivalency of an x-ray). I cannot imagine being a female in any of the red states, like Iowa, that have taken a stance to investigate (and prosecute, if "necessary") women who have an alleged miscarriage while out-of-state. Any woman of child-bearing age, is sexually active and lives in one of these states really needs to think twice about leaving their state for work or vacation. I cannot imagine living in Iowa, being in early pregnancy and traveling to say, California, for a work assignment because of the fear of a medical emergency requiring a D&C (medically necessary abortion) happening. This could happen to women who are unaware they are pregnant, as well. I would advise all women not to vacation or even travel through those states with abortion bans because you just never know. I would advise the women living in those states to think twice about getting pregnant. What they're doing to the woman in Ohio who had 4 ER visits in 3 days because she was 20 weeks and bleeding with pain and her water broke because she miscarried the fetus at home is absolutely appalling. The Texas AG threatening to prosecute the Kate Cox and her doctor(s) if they removed the non-viable fetus is equally appalling . It really is right out of "The Handmaid's Tale".

  40. Honestly, I think Christie would be almost as corrupt as Trump, and Christie might also pardon Trump.. At the very least, Haley knows what she's doing in regards to most foreign policy. The GOP -led Georgia legislature is looking at ways to change the state laws just so they can pardon Trump if he's convicted in Georgia. Ultimately , we cannot have Trump in the WH again. If that means having someone like Haley who would pardon him, it might be a "fair" exchange for Trump never holding office. Personally, in the federal cases, , I think Jack Smith is going to offer Trump a Spiro Agnew deal-- plead guilty to one felony and promise to never run for office again in exchange for no prison time.

  45.  @jenf2857  You say you have paper voting. Do you leave the voting location with paper proof of any sort regarding whom you voted or just that you participated in the procesz? Aside from the obvious voter per capita issue between the US and Australia (the US has approx 200 million voters), the one reason as to why US voters don't and can't leave their voting precinct location with "proof" indicating the name of a candidate for whom they voted, is due to the US centuries-ago established law that "votes are not for sale" in the US. You can verify if a voter voted in an election, and unless it's a general primary, you cannot even find out if a voter voted a straight party ticket.
