@jimohara If he'd "held out a bit longer", it wouldn't have mattered because he knew Pence was A) in a safe location and B) Pence refused to leave that location to be driven away from the Capitol building. You really can't be so dense as to not see it. I think it's more a matter that you would have cheered him on if the plan has actually been successful. Meaning, you don't really care about the US Constitution nor free and fair elections. Our US-styled type of democracy really means nothing to you if your guy doesn't win. That is certainly not the definition of a patriot. You can bluster and pretend all you want, but you are the farthest thing from being a patriot. The founding fathers would have jailed you and sent you back to the King.

@jimohara Trump was using the J6 defendants by having them stop Pence from certifying the election using REAL electorate votes but instead, getting Pence out of the way (by any means apparently) and having Sen Grassley, next in line, sit in for Pence and use FAKED electoral votes to certify the election in Trump's favor. THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF A COUP. Oh, and on Jan 5, Grassley stated he'd be filling in for Pence to both a reporter and in his own Twitter post. What are you misunderstanding? The point of Trump sending his followers to the Capitol was to disrupt the certification. Fortunately, Pence wasn't found by the mob AND he chose to stay inside the Capitol building. Most of the saps who went to the Capitol weren't even aware of HOW they were being used by Trump.
