  1. The battle is measured in number of Russian casualties and vehicle lost not in territory lost. If Russia carries on having ' victories ' like these there wont be a Russian army left in 6 months time.

  2. Russia has been pushing forward very slowly but the price they are paying is unsustainable. For the last 3 months Russia has lost over one thousand troops per day killed and wounded. That's 100,000 Russian casualties. Another 3 months from now how much territory will Russia have taken at current progress? Not much, but the casualties will be another 100,000. And so on. Let's be realistic, within 6 months there won't be a Russian army left in Ukraine. Russia has lost this war without a doubt regardless of what happens in Kursk, that operation is just another nail in Putin's coffin.
