  1. Your wasting your time with all the hoping and coping on here. The Luhansk offensive has already been stopped in its tracks. The Ukrainians are now into phase 2 of their offensive and using some Western-trained troops and equipment, but not all of it. We can already see Russian forces starting to crumble in the south and around Bakhmut. Seriously, Russia is in big, deep trouble. The Russian military has failed in Ukraine and the Economy is collapsing. Putin and his cronies have destroyed the Russian people for generations. This will become apparent very soon. I hope one day Russia will rejoin civilization, it's got so much to offer the world, but until they face up to the horror they have inflicted on Ukraine and rid themselves of the corrupt kleptocracy running their country, there really is no hope. Russia is now a rogue nation, a pirate state, with no regard for international law. It is one of the few countries ruled by a war criminal who understands only strength and regards peaceful diplomacy as weakness. Look what his bullying tactics have got him, a war that may result in the break up of the Russian Federation, a descent into poverty once more for the people of Russia, for no reason except the vain glory old man's dreams of empire. The Russian people need to wake up, get back to reality, and forget the warmongering before it's too late. Putin is already teaching Russian kids how to fire weapons and hate the big, bad west, but you don't see any of the Russian elite's kids going to fight on the front line, do you? Their children go to the big, bad Wests educational colleges, they live and work in the West and have great lives in the West while the normal Russian people are groomed for perpetual warfare and sent to the front lines with no equipment and very little, if any, training. Wake up before it's too late. Russia is too important to fail but another year of Putin's rule will see the complete moral and economic collapse of what was once a great people.

  11.  @rogerbunn1678  It is only Russian artillery that has kept the Russian military in this war but we are approaching a point where the Ukrainians are reaching parity through precision. Without the artillery advantage, Russia has lost this war. You are correct about the Russian army no longer being the same today as it was when it first entered Ukraine. It is no longer the Russian professional army because that has been decimated in the first 12 months of the War. It is now the Russian Amateur Army. What makes you think the Amateur army is going to fare any better than the now largely destroyed professional army? Plus don't forget the Ukrainian army at the start of this invasion was a lot weaker than it is now, and it still defeated the Russians outside Kyiv. It decimated the VDV forces at Hostomol and largely destroyed the 40-mile convoy that ran out of fuel and logistics on its way to a glorious victory..... The truth of my statement lies in the fact that Putin had to mobilize another 350,000 troops even though he knew it would be unpopular he had no choice or the war would have been lost last year. But these mobilized troops are not trained and have little equipment but are ok sitting in trenches. The truth of my statement lies in the fact that this war is nearly 2 years old and Russia is still struggling against a country a third its size and Ukraine is even going on the counter-offensive. Ukraine now has more tanks than it started the war with. Yes, it does have losses but they are immediately replaced by the Americans. 10 Bradlys lost? 20 replace them in the next aid package. Ukrainian air defense now shoots down at least 90 percent of Russian missile and Shaeed Drone attacks. No system is 100 percent effective but they are certainly approaching that figure, they also have more Anti-air defenses being delivered by the day. The Ukranian air force is still active and launching attacks against the Russians on a daily basis and F-16 Jets will be delivered before Xmas from the looks of things. You talk about the different weapons systems, well that's typical NATO setup, there are 32 different countries all using different equipment and talking different languages but it is still the number 1 fighting force in the world and very effective, if what you say is true about using so many different systems then no multinational force would function. Ukraine has the advantage of using different systems but speaking the same language. Do you see? At the end of the day with the right tools a mechanic, engineer, or technician can fix anything. Maintenance is the least of their worries. Ukraine has every chance of winning this conflict. And if I was a etting man my money would definitely be on Ukraine to win. Bro.

  12.  @mrobocop1666  Yes it's reported in Western media, the truth about the real situation in Ukraine, thanks for admitting that the Western press tells the truth. Guess what happens then? Those problems are corrected because Ukraine is backed up by the entire West, 50 trillion GDP against Russias 1.6 trillion GDP. Do you see? Russia does have an advantage in artillery but its army is complete crap worse than Iraq's in the gulf war when the Americans destroyed the Russian-equipped Iraqi army, at the time 3rd largest in the world, in 1 week. Russia thought it could do the same to Ukraine but we all know how that turned out. You contradict yourself as you speak when you tell us Russia has only had 1 mobilization in nearly 2 years of war. That's right 2 years of war against Ukraine. The 2nd army in the world has been fighting for nearly 2 years against a country a third its size and its Ukraine that's on the counter-offensive. Do you understand what your admitting without realizing it? Ukraine had 1 major mobilization at the very start of the war producing a 1 million-man army. It has never been able to mobilise more because it did not have the weapons to arm them. It now has the option of mobilizing another 1 million men, so just consider that for one moment. Russia did not mobilize at the start of the war because it thought its 250 thousand professional military was more than enough to defeat Ukraine in less than a week but the opposite happened, it got defeated. Comprehensively. And now the Russian Amateur Army is going to be defeated just like the Russian Professional Army. It's not the equipment, it's the men using that equipment, and the Russians just don't cut the mustard. They don't even know why they are in Ukraine, they have not got a clue why they are there. While the Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom, families, and land. They can't give in or retreat because they have nowhere to go, think about that for 1 second and then reconsider your opinion that Russia is going to win an unjustifiable war against a people that are fighting for their very existence as an independent nation. Even if by some miracle Russia turns this war around, welcome to 40 years of Western-backed insurgency that will make the Russian occupation of Afghanistan look like a day at the beach. Do you see?
