  1. Nearly 3 years into this illegal invasion with 700,000 casualties and Russia has taken maybe a further 5 percent of Ukranian territory. It already illegally held 15 percent. These incremental gains may take land but at what cost? Russia is finished and any more ' victories' as described in this video, there won't be a Russian military left. You have ' history' in your title. But it appears Russians have not learnt the lessons of the 2nd world war. Germany invaded and advanced on all fronts, but the Soviets just retreated and gave up space and land for time. Eventually the Germans exhausted themselves leading to their retreat and defeat. This is exactly what is happening in Ukraine. Russia may not realise this but its not looking good.
