  1. Why all this praise for Wagner? A group of mercenaries responsible for many crimes against humanity everywhere they go. Wagner's achievements in Bakhmut were laid on the bones of 35 thousand prisoners sacrificed for every foot of ground taken. Once they ran out of prisoners, and core fighters from the group started to die, they had no choice but to retreat from Bakhmut or be destroyed completely. No more cannon fodder=no more Wagner. Prighozin and the regular army sacrificed up to 100,000 dead and wounded to take a nonstrategic, very small town. How can that be classed as a victory? And let's be honest it's still being fought over now and looks increasingly likely that Ukranian forces are going to surround and cut off the troops that have been caught in that trap. You know the very same Ukranian army that was supposedly taking 7 to 1 casualties when in reality for most of the battle they destroyed most of the Eastern Russian army and just retreated when the overwhelming meat troops pushed forward. Wagner has basically fled the battlefield because they know it's all going to end in failure. Rather than praise and glorification, they should be vilified as the murderers and rapists they are in reality. In fact, a private military company doing all the work that state forces should be doing just indicates how low the actual Russian state has fallen. Wagner and the other private military armies, even Gazprom have got one, will soon be fighting over the rotten carcass that was once a country of musicians, artists, a ballet that was out of this world, astronomers, and scientists up there with the best, Putin has created a country rotten to the core, that glorifies the death and destruction of its neighbors under false pretext. Look at the deliberate destruction of the Dam in Kherson, a war crime if there ever was one. Actions like that and the cultivation and praise of groups like Wagner will lead to a moral corruption that will take many generations to wash away if Russia ever can. Sad.
