Thanks for your thoughts.

I think 1 million is a conservative estimate. People were leaving even before the war.

Great analysis and in my view spot on.

AS usual good, solid, useful information.

@marcbjorg4823 If those figures were correct Russia would be winning but they are wrong. Russia has been losing at least 3-7 to 1. At least. Maybe more with Russian meat wave attacks. Any attacking force will lose at least 3 killed and wounded to 1 defender that's a minimum but the Russians are so bad, their losses are much heavier.

@Infopirates Western countries have very diverse economies and are used to the ups and downs of capitalism. Russia is a gas station with a gdp of 1.7 trillion. It is resoirce rich but the majority of population live in poverty or just above the poverty line, in real terms its gdp is less than 1 trillion meaning Russia poor.

Truth does hurt.

Thanks Mark.

And 66 percent of people outside Moscow and St Petersberg don't have indoor toilets. 33 percent in urban areas. Go for a piss in a shed in garden but at least you have nuclear ice breakers....

Your correct. India is letting Democracy down. Modi is cynical. He is supporting the West just enough so that if he has a conflict with China, he hopes the West will back him up. Very sad.

Still the richest country in the world. Everybody still wants to come to America. Greatest economic and military power the world has ever known.
2
They are war zones, so that's not true. Moving population from one war zones to another not very sensible, is it?

Russians are now using Donkeys to bring shells up to the front.

@Notrusbot Russia will collapse very soon. Start stocking up on Beets and Turnips. White goods for bartering. A generator may come in handy. Remember the 90,s?

@johnbecker5213 The British are the best.

He did say there would be a short-term increase. But with an increase in shale production and other countries pumping more, prices would soon stabilize.

@albertroberts5929 The world including Russia thought that Europe would freeze if they didn't buy their oil and gas and we all know how that worked out. It backfired on Russia and the new pipe line was even destroyed. Same thing will happen if Russian oil and Gas was to stop tomorrow. There may be a short-term shortage and pain but it's guaranteed the shortfall would be made up. If the political problems with Venezuela were solved then it has proven oil reserves of 304 billion barrels more than Saudi Arabia at 298 billion barrels. Iran with the 4th biggest oil reserves in the world have the potential to increase their production if the political will was there. Mexico has vast untapped potential which would almost certainly be influenced by a cut off of Russian oil. The shale industry has vast untapped potential just in America alone it is only restricted because of the amount of oil on the world markets but without Russia and the brakes were lifted the sky is the limit. It depends on what your definition of 'short period of time' is but within a couple of years the short fall could easily be solved if the world was desperate enough. Here i am only talking about oil and gas. The disappearance of Russian oil and gas would speed up the production of Solar, wind, wave, nuclear, hydrogen, electric etc.

Mark smiled a lot in this video because he knows Russia is a small economy that is about to come crashing down. Putin believes his own propaganda about how great and powerful his country is. The truth is Russia is a small country economically, on par with Italy. The West need to get over the cold war fear of the Soviet Union.
1
@Infopirates All stolen and sovereign Ukranian territory. Russia will have to give it all back sooner or later.
1
@johnm7267 3 of the worst regimes on the planet. The West will stop them.

Another fascinating video, thanks.

@Notrusbot Putin has been threatening nuclear destruction for nearly 3 years. Russia is now a clear and present danger to the UK ,if not the world. Russia is doomed and will likely collapse over next couple years but we must make sure it does not take everyone down with it.
1
@Kansika Russia will collapse even worse than the Soviet Union did. Putin runs Russia like a mafia Don, it's all going to come crashing down.

@StPiter111 Your comparisons make no sense. Ukraine is a third the size of Russia. America has a GDP of 25 trillion, it's the richest country in the world. Russia has a GDP of about 1.7 trillion i am sure its lower than that now and that GDP is from 145 million people. Its less than the state of Texas or the economy of Italy which only has a population of less that 60 million. Do you see? Russia is falling apart because most of its economy is geared towards the military and making money for Putin and his cronies. The Russian people are nothing but slaves and it will be too late by the time they wake up. Stop pretending Russia is a normal country, with normal values. There is something seriously wrong with the people of Russia and it's all going to end in pain.
